Terms of Service

As your Cake Decorator, Queen of Crumbs agrees to deliver the ordered cake in a timely and mutually agreed upon manner. Contingent on the following conditions:

  1. The full invoice amount is required upfront to secure the order and contract for the described goods and services.

  2. Queen of Crumbs may, at their discretion, organise a payment plan for your invoice. In this instance, the retainer amount must be paid upfront and subsequent payment/s made by their due dates to secure the order and contract for the described goods and services.

  3. By paying either your retainer or the full balance, you agree to the outlined terms and conditions.

  4. Any changes to your order must be made in writing at least two weeks prior to delivery. The Cake Customer agrees that there will be no order changes to the cake request less than two weeks before the delivery date.

  5. If the relevant order is cancelled, 25% of the total cost of the order is non-refundable, plus all expenses that have already been incurred. In the event that something occurs to affect the Cake Customer’s scheduled event date – please contact Queen of Crumbs to discuss options.

  6. If fresh flowers will be used on the cake it is the responsibility of the florist to determine flower safety and safe food practices and not Queen of Crumbs.

  7. The colours blue and purple or any shade of these colours cannot and will not be guaranteed. These colours are very unstable and tend to fade and or bleed into surrounding colours of frosting.

  8. Cake ingredients or machinery may come in contact with nuts, milk, and wheat products.

  9. The Cake Customer must provide the delivery address at the time of order, or no less than seven (7) days prior to the delivery date. Queen of Crumbs reserves the right to cancel orders whereby the delivery details are not provided within the specified timeframe.

  10. In the event of a cancellation (due to delivery details not being provided within the required timeframe), the Cake Customer will be refunded less any payment processing fees and costs incurred in preparing for the order.

  11. In the case of an unavoidable situation, such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery, Queen of Crumbs cannot be held liable for more than the cost of the ordered item/s.

  12. The Cake Customer shall provide clear driving directions to the desired delivery location and inform Queen of Crumbs of any adverse road hazards and or obstacles that may damage the finished cake.

  13. Queen of Crumbs promises to do everything in their power to provide a cake/cookies that exceeds your expectations. Queen of Crumbs will work with you on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied with your cake/cookies. Please note that colours and design of actual cake may vary slightly from computer or hand-drawn mock up.

  14. The Cake Customer agrees that certain creative changes may be made to the final design for the purpose of stability, structural integrity or any other emergency.

  15. In the event that the Cake Customer is not happy with the supplied order, the ordered item/s must be returned to Queen of Crumbs for inspection within 24 hours of receipt of order. Upon assessment, Queen of Crumbs will use its sole discretion as to whether a refund or credit will be issued.

  16. Queen of Crumbs will not be liable for any damage that occurs to items that are posted. Queen of Crumbs will always package orders to such an extent as to reduce the possibility of any damage.

  17. All orders processed through the Queen of Crumbs website are final. As all items are made to order, no refunds or credits will be provided in the cases of, but not limited to: change of mind, inability to collect, incorrect shipping details.

  18. If a shipped order is returned to Queen of Crumbs due to reasons such as failure to collect from the shipping provider (after failure to deliver) or incorrect shipping details etc., the Cake Customer will be required to pay shipping to have the order resent.

  19. Please note that as this is a small business within Australia, all products, including gift vouchers, will only be sent within Australia and not overseas.

  20. By purchasing a gift voucher, you confirm that you are either in Australia or that the gift voucher recipient is within Australia. Any gift card purchases from outside of Australia (without order notes confirming the recipient's residency), will be cancelled and refunded, less any applicable payment processing fees.
